About
the tour : |
The
tour kicks off at the Waterside Wimpy in Newcastle after a
breakfast at the Wimpy and finish with a lunch/dinks at the
same venue. This is a social tour, to put a bit of distance
in the legs after the winter. Mountain bikes are welcome but
it will only be on road cycling.The Club will supply leading
and sweeping vehicle. For those not confidant on the distance
a bike trailer will be taken should you need a break. Triathlon
Cycles will supply repair equipment spare wheels, tires &
tubes in case of emergency.

| Bonus
ride:
Friday 10 September the club is organizing a joint training
ride from the Newcastle inn @ 14:00. Distance approx 60km. |

| Family
Braai:
A social Bring & Braai on Friday evening at Waterside Wimpy.
Salads will be supplied by N-KZN Triathlon Cycle Club. We are
using the Wimpy as a venue , they will supply the cutlery. Kindly
we request everyone to support the Wimpy for any drinks (coffee,
cool drinks and alcoholic beverages…). |

Day
1:
Will have 2 stops for refreshments (dinks, fruit, sandwiches,
muffins & chocolates). First stop is in Utrecht 55km on
route and the next one is 50km further. Cycling distance for
day 1 is 140km.
We will be staying over in the Dundee primary school hostel.
Dinner and breakfast will be supplied. |

2:
Will have one quick stop for refreshments. Cycling distance
for the day is 70km. On completing the cycling everyone is invited
to join us for brunch/lunch at the Wimpy. |

Logistics: |
For
entrants out of town we have arranged a secure overnight parking
bay for vehicles at the Waterside Wimpy.

• Bring
along your own bedding. Loading will be on the morning before
departure on
luggage truck. (from 7:00 – 8:30
Saturday)
• Overnight clothing and cycling clothes for the 2nd
day
• If you are a competitive cyclist and would like
a harder workout for the weekend rather
bring your mountain bike
